Icon Font Sets for the Web
Below is a list of my favorite Icon Fonts from around the web. There is a couple Icon Font tools as well that allow you to mix and match and build a really optimized and custom Icon Font for your project. Those tools are by far my favorite however sometimes you just need a specific Icon Font for the job and these are some of the best I have found so be sure to check them all out. MOst are free to use however a couple cost a little money. I have provided the link to each website below the description of each font set/tool. Keep in mind there are hundreds of Icon Font Sets around the web, this is just a list of 21 for now. Font Custom (Font Generator Tool)
Generate custom icon webfonts from the comfort of the command line. Font Custom will convert your Icon images into a sleek Icon Font file. You can even set it to monitor a folder for new images and build the updated Font file on the fly as well as the proper CSS files.
Fontello Icon Font Generator (Font Generator Tool)
Fontello is another amazing project that is very similar to IcoMoon App but it is probably my favorite. It allows you to upload your own SVG files to build a custom font or pick from it;s library that consist of many other Icon Font sets. You can then download an optimized custom icon font with just what you need. It has a great user interface and is easy and fast to use. I highly recomend it if you need to work with icon fonts.
IcoMoon Font App (Over 3,000 Icons)
IcoMoon App is amazing, it allows you to upload your own fonts or icons or browse it;s library of over 3,000 icons and build the perfect font file for your project with just the stuff you need.
Stackicons Font (75 Icons)
Stackicons are icon fonts for the web, designed to do more — with multiple button shapes and a unique “multi-color” option. The Stackicons-Social font and Sass-based construction kit are free and open source, created by Parker Bennett. Stackicons allow you to use a single Flat color or make a multi-color icon by stacking layers.
